Prime Video unveils "The Burial," inspired by true events is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 11. Academy Award winners Tommy Lee Jones and Jamie Foxx take the lead in this gripping tale of an unlikely alliance against corporate corruption and racial injustice.

Based on Jonathan Harr's 1999 New Yorker article, "The Burial" follows personal injury lawyer Willie E. Gary, portrayed by Jamie Foxx, as he embarks on a mission to help funeral home owner Jeremiah Joseph O'Keefe, played by Tommy Lee Jones. O'Keefe finds himself entangled in a contract dispute with the formidable Loewen funeral company, led by Raymond Loewen, portrayed by Bill Camp. With Gary's charismatic assistance, O'Keefe takes legal action against Loewen's company, uncovering the dark secrets and deceptions within the funeral industry.

Following its TIFF premiere, the film will hit select theaters on October 6 before becoming available on Prime Video starting October 13.
